BURIAL HEX/ZOLA JESUS split LP - 2 amazing tracks from BURIAL HEX, one new style, one banger from the "Initiations" period, split with one lengthy track from the amazing ZOLA JESUS - think Wisconsin teenage Diamanda Galas... Incredible stuff. Hoping to have these available at Roadburn next week.
Also got the new ALABASTER SUNS CD on Iron Pig, an amazing album featuring the guitarist and drummer of the now defunct CAPRICORNS.
Its a blend of early Prong, Voivod and the DC sound, absolutely killer.

We are very happy to announce our support for the Equinox Festival to be held here in London, 12th to 14th of June. This is truly going to be a historical
event bringing together an incredible array of thinkers, activists and performers for three amazing days. K 11's Pietro Riparbelli is confirmed to perform in addition to AB favourites such
as Aethenor, John Zorn, Z'ev, Arktau Eos and many more. Stay tuned for more information and line up additions.

WORMSBLOOD "In The Stars" LP is out now. Blue/black vinyl mix, matte sleeve with exclusive artwork by G Lansard, this is limited to just 333 copies! Their demos release just got 'Record of the Week' over at
SF's AQUARIUS records, where they describe WORMSBLOOD as "Totally twisted lofi underground black metal free noise new weird America freak folk genius from Clay Ruby of Jex Thoth, Burial Hex, Davenport, and others... ".
This is totally insane stuff and well worth picking up. Read more about it here.
In other news, thanks to everyone who inquired after the KTL silkscreen edition. This actually sold out immediately, being offered to all those who got in touch in a chronological order. Sorry if you missed out.

WRECK OF THE HESPERUS 'Sunken Threshold' LP - an amazing package for the vinyl edition of this great album from the Irish doom horde.
You may have read on Ideologic about a special edition of the KTL '1' vinyl. This is currently in production, consisting of a hand silkscreened fold over heavyweight cover, printed both
sides with brand new artwork. The vinyl, some black, some white, is housed in the original double printed inner bags and comes with the original A1 poster. To round it off, the package comes
with 5 pin badges, 3 x 38mm, 2 x 25mm. This special edition is a run of only 20 units, not the 40 we originally thought we could make. Of these a maximum of 15 will be for sale after copies
for the band. Its becoming unlikley that these will even make it into the webshop: if you are interested in a copy, please email me with the subject KTL.
In other news, we are gearing up for the vinyl edition of WORMSBLOOD "In the stars" LP, heavyweight sleeve with art by G Lansard, 2 colour vinyl, limited to 333 copies worldwide. Very excited about this
amazing and confusing masterpiece, will be getting this up for sale on the site here a week today.
We are also proud to present the long awaited vinyl edition of ATAVIST 'II: Ruined' as a double LP, heavy gatefold with new artwork, as an edition of 500. The album really leaps out of the speakers on the vinyl
format, the wait has been worth it. We will be offering the album for preorder shortly as an exclusive package with a T shirt. Knowing the unrelaibility of pressing plant schedules, we will not begin preorders until
we have a guaranteed shipping date. The album is scheduled for release through Southern on March 23rd.

2009 looks set to be an amazing year here at AB, so much going on...
FAUNA "Rain" CD is available now in the webshop and will be available in stores from Jan 26th. The band will have a small feature in the next
issue of Terrorizer magazine and there is a review in the current issue of Plan B magazine.
Next release due is the WORMSBLOOD "In the stars" LP. This will be vinyl only, coloured, and limited to only 333. Amazing, horrifying and
hectic, this album is one of the most extreme releases ever to see moonlight here at AB and is sure to be controversial. Street date for
that is currently Feb 23rd. A track has been added to the player above. You can read more on the band's page in the artist's section.
K 11 "Voices From Thelema" CD will finally see its AB release on March 9th. This monumental work by Italian sound artist and philosopher
Pietro Riparbelli is comprised of recordings from the ether taken from Thelema Abbey in Cefalu. Crowleyan and Thelemic in intent, the CD comes
in a deluxe digipack with an attached 32 page colour booklet documenting the ruined Abbey during the recording process and features many
images of the murals painted by Crowley himself. The CD also features a Quicktime film of the Abbey and its environs. Check the artist's section
for more information.

Happy New Year to all our customers. We are now back at work with full force, normal service is resumed following the holiday season.
Its a great time for non-UK customers right now as the Pound is at near parity with the Euro, and its at a 7 year low against the Dollar (£1.00 : $1.45 approx). Its worth taking advantage of the turbulence in the currency markets, so get stuck in.
There will be more news on the forthcoming releases for 2009 very soon: its already looking like a busy year with a wide variety of releases
on deluxe CD, double LP and some very special highly limited LP releases... Check back for more news soon.

FAUNA 'Rain' CD is now available in the webshop. Aurora Borealis is proud to present 'Rain' by the ultra obscure FAUNA. Based in the temperate rainforest region of
the Pacific Northwest, FAUNA are a strongly eco-centric two piece band working in the black metal genre. 'Rain'
consists of one epic track lasting over an hour. Beginning with a field recording of rain in a forest, the piece
thereafter becomes an acoustic journey, sung vocals complete this section before a raw black metal surge of power
and pummel. FAUNA create honest, atavistic music in dark times for humanity and the world that nurtures us.
we are very proud to present "Rain" as a CD with matte insert, housed in a black heavyweight cardstock hand screened card package, with black artwork.

acupuncyure points or the astral significance of the bodily organs, all beautifuly/horendously illustrated by G Lansard. We are stunned by his achievement and happy to offer this for
immediate sale. You will be able to find this shirt at the bottom of the AB releases page in the newly updated webshop.

FINALLY, it's here! BLOOD OF THE BLACK OWL 'A Feral Spirit' deluxe 180g double LP, matte satin varnish gatefold with poster is now in stock and on sale! Very limited initial quantity come with an Elk hide
patch, cut, branded and blessed in sacred sage smoke by Chet himself. This is a truly special release and we are overjoyed to be a part of it.

In other AB news, test pressings are here for JOURNEY TO IXTLAN and they sound amazing, so hope to have the vinyl version soon. ROSE KEMP test presses have also arrived and are also sounding great, so hoping to get that underway immediately: another incredible record.
Lastly, expecting new AB badges featuring artwork by the inimitable G Lansard along with some stickers shortly - proper vinyl ones, cannot wait! Will post images of these as soon as they are available. They will be sent out free with orders mostly.
