Wednesday10/08/05  "The Red Planet is about to be spectacular... This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close isin 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again. The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification. Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the east at 10p.m and reach its azimuth at about 3 a.m. By the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30 a.m. That's pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in recorded history. So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month. Monday 8/08/05  Hails! Mailorder is back up and running. The pin sets for the MOSS/WOLFMANGLER release are ready and look killer. Hopefully willl get the WOLFMANGLER shirts today. The official release date for the split CD is Septempber 12th, but we hope to have them available on the site before they ship to other distributors, stores etc etc. There will also be a MOSS shirt available. These will also be available at the gig on August 20th at the Underworld, London. INTEGRITY test pressings arrived today for approval. Preliminary work is being done on the following releases; GINNUNGAGAP remeindre LP, CREBAIN night of the stormcrow PIC LP, GUNGAL HEX PIC LP, and the KNIVES ØV RESISTANCE CD. More news to follow. The new EARTH hex CD is amazing, really great. A long way removed from say Earth 2, but a great record on its own merits. Also enjoying BONE AWL 7", DEATHSPELL OMEGA kenose CD, and CIRCLE forest CD.
Saturday 30/07/05 No mailorders will be shipped from now until Monday August 8th as I will be out of town. New releases: sleeves have arrived for the INTEGRITY LP and the MOSS/WOLFMANGLER split CD. Both releases should be ready to ship by late August. This is somewhat slower than we expected, but the end results should be well worth the wait. We can also confirm that we will shortly be releasing the vinyl re-issue of the FUNGAL HEX release, a Stephen O'Malley side project from a couple of years back. This should be due in October if all goes to plan, along with another release or two in the same month. Currently enjoying hearing: Earth "hex" advance CD and Ildjarn "forest poetry" CD.
Tuesday 19/07/05 BLACK BONED ANGEL "supereclipse" is back in stock. CAPRICORNS vinyl is out of stock. Both have been selling like proverbial hot cakes, as has VILLAINS - don't sleep on this one. Mail order is a little slow since last week as I have been away and am working everyday from before the post office opens and get back when its shut. Will be able to mail some stuff tomorrow though. No news on new releases: stillwaiting for sleeves, pins etc etc. MOSS will be playing in London on Saturday August 20th at the Underworld in Camden with Esoteric. Should have the split for sale at the gig. Come down and be bludgeoned into despair.
Wednesday 13/07/05 NECROGNOSIS T is finally back in stock in all sizes. Apologies to anyone that didn't manage to get a copy of the SUNN O))) "candlewolff" 12", demand for this was insane. If there is a remote chance I get any more of these I will let you know in advance, but I wouldn't hold your breath... The forthcoming MOSS/WOLFMANGLER split has been delayed by a week or 2, but the good news is that this will now be a CD rather than a Cdr. It comes in deluxe packaging with inserts and is in an edition of 500. Initial mailorder quantities will ship with a limited pin. Future releases: expect vinyl from CREBAIN, FUNGAL HEX, and GINNUNGAGAP, the latter being the vinyl version of the "remeindre" EP. Following that we are looking at a releases from KNIVES OV RESISTANCE, WHITE DAUGHTER, and hopefully a new full-length from WOLFMANGLER. There was also some talk of a new CAVEMAN SKVLL mixtape.... At this minute listening to: ATAVIST rough mix of their forthcoming LP.

Wednesday 6/07/05 SUNN O))) "candlewulff" 12" will be in the store on Sunday. I have a very limited amount, so please check Sunday evening if you want one, these will go fast. I will also have restocks of the NECROGNOSIS T shirt design, so all sizes will once again be available. VILLAINS 7" is on the way from Ajna: features members of Unearthly Trance, sounds dirty and brutal. More on that when I get them. In release news, sleeves for INTEGRITY LP, and MOSS/WOLFMANGLER split are at the printers, so will still be another couple of weeks. FUNGAL HEX pic disc reissue is next in the works, a chance to get this out of print O'Malley guitar work on vinyl. Also look for a CDR release from KNIVES OF RESISTANCE. More info to follow. Monday 13/06/05 Hails! Slight delay in updating due to computer update khaos.... More stuff sold out, never to return. CAPRICORNS ts, CD and vinyl are all ready, will put them in the store later today. Just added UNEARTHLY TRANCE vinyl for "in the red". Killer LP, you should check it out if you don't already have it. First pressing on blood red vinyl. Been really getting into THRALLDOM as well lately... Recommended. Both projects are truly blackened but without any of the clown trappings of much of what passes for BM these days, and treading their own musical/mystical paths. Earnest in intent and intelligently executed.

25/04/05  Updated the shopping system. There are now 2 shops, one for customers within EUROPE, one for the REST OF THE WORLD. Each shop has the shipping rates included. Vinyl is pretty heavy and espensive to ship, so its best to try local distributors if you are in the USA. Check the links page. GINNNUNGAGAP should be back in stock tomorrow. Updated the shirts section of the shop to include better images, and adjusted some prices. Also added some EARTH "live" cds, found a few in a box, no more after these few...

20/04/05 Hails! MOSS/Torture Wheel split sold out, devoured by the hordes. Look for a MOSS/Wolfmangler split cd coming soon from Aurora Borealis. In other shop news, the sleeves have arrived for the DEFEKT VERSION cdr, and the GINNUNGAGAP cds should arrive today: tommorrow I can enjoy the rich pageant of humanity in all its forms as I visit the post office with a vast mail out... I will add a few more bits to the store on the weekend. Stay tuned.
16/04/05  New GINNUNGAGAP cd added to the store. Limited to 1000 numbered copies and replete with beautiful fold out packaging and inserts. "For this session Stephen O'Malley enlisted the help of psych/free/folk troubadour Alexander Tucker and fellow traveller Anthony Sylvester. Wishing to forego the amplifier worship of previous projects, the trio set about using acoustic instruments to create a meditative and different kind of "heavy" musical landscape filled with the drone of traditional Indian layers of wordless voice. The resulting four compositions are powerful, reflective and extremely beautiful. The inspiration for this session came from the soundtrack work of Popul Vuh for the films of Werner Herzog and Alejandro Jodorowsky's collaborative music for his films from the early 70's along with more modern artists like Ben Chasny's Six Organs Of Admittance and Jack Rose's Pelt."

12/10/04 The Ginnungagap 12" will be available next week. It contains new mixes of both tracks, so its all different to the CDR version. Its on clear blue vinyl, we'll have a limited amount for sale here. We also hope to have a Ginnungagap shirt available in the next 2 weeks. The store will be online in the next few days with a variety of product, so check back for that. Should be up by Monday. The first audio release, the Ginnungagap "1000% Downer" 3" CDR, sold out during the Khanate European tour in May. The ep will be released on vinyl around July, containing new mixes of the 2 tracks. (Maybe July was a little ambitious....) Further releases from a variety of artists are in discussion, more news will be added as things are confirmed. If all goes to plan we hope to have another O'Malley related release to coincide with the SUNN O))) "rather grimm" UK tour in December, in addition to a live LP of pure evil by another artist, recorded back in 1992...
