ADERLATING/NEKRASOV
split LP
Genre: noise/black ambient
"Foul and utterly terrifying split LP between Australian noise terrorists NEKRASOV and our old pal
Mories (Gnaw Their Tongues, De Magia Veterum) with more oppressive new
material from another of his noiseterror projects, ADERLATING. Limited to 300 copies only, on translucent dark green
with silver splatter wax.
...Black metal, dark
noise and ambient sub-musical territories. Australian one-man unit
NEKRASOV embraces Nothing as a state and rejects Nothing as a value.
The hell unleashed by the unit here is severely
haunting, a lone track clocking in at a mammoth 24:42
And that's all before you even get to the wretched B-side of the
split. From within the same dimly-lit hate cellar and born of the same
dismal mind as Gnaw Their Tongues, the cavernous suffocation delivered
by ADERLATING bursts forth with low frequency horror, nausea-inducing
20khz drones, fistfucking distorted tape-hiss and raped soundscapes,
while the lowest and vilest of demons provide a diabolical
orchestration. This is purely demented, scathing, metallic bliss." - Chrome Leaf.
Nekrasov side is way less ultra harsh than some of his other material. Cool split from a relatively new label
Tracklisting:
A1 Nekrasov "Qualities of being Futile and Valueless" [24:42]
B1 Aderlating "Chalic of Abalam" [10:15]
B2 Aderlating "Ritus Orgia Sanqin" [6:24]
B3 Aderlating "Dog Semen" [6:23]

DEADWOOD
'Ramblack' LP
Genre: noise/death ambient
'Ramblack' is the follow up to Deadwood's successful 2005 album "8 19" (CSR53CD). Over the past 3 years this Swedish artist has been toiling away, creating a new black ambient / death noise
masterpiece and 'Ramblack' is the result. Cloaked in a more raw and morbid sound then its predecessor, this album truly changes ones perspective of audial darkness. This analogue beast of an album
layers the tonal prayers of demons and the distorted cries of angels, sickness and depravity. True Death Electronics. The soundtrack to your end. 'Ramblack' features guest vocals from
Norwegian Black Metal legend Maniac (Skitliv, ex-Mayhem), whose vocal approach on the song 'Forakt' shows the full range of his capacity. Truly one of the most sick and twisted pieces of
sonic art ever recorded. Enjoy the disease!
Vinyl edition is limited to 300 copies on coloured vinyl with 4 tracks from the main CD album and a 15+ minute exclusive track, 'Cell Of Sirclin'.

GNAW
'This face' LP
Genre: avant doom/noise
GNAW was formed in 2006 by Alan Dubin (ex-Khanate, OLD) along with Jamie Sykes (ex-Burning Witch, Thorr's Hammer, Atavist), Carter Thornton (Enos Slaughter),
Jun Mizumachi (ex-Ike Yard: 80's NYC industrial legends) and Brian Beatrice (Emmy Award winning sound design/mix wizard). Dubin thought it would be fantastic
to collaborate with some of his respected musician/friends, all who have diverse music backgrounds to see/hear what would develop. GNAW's debut album 'This Face'
is the sonic culmination of over a year of sound experimentation. It's a genre destroying journey that almost defies description. Sykes is a percussive madman
blasting out anything from tribal beats to ultra slow tom killings. Mizumachi is a renown sound designer for film & TV and is a master of electronics including
synth, factory noise, metal bashing and other craziness. Beatrice is also a sound designer and mixer for film & TV and was the mixer for "This Face" as well as
experimenting and adding additional sounds. Thornton is a crafty musician who actually makes his own instruments. He played guitar, bass, piano and some unnamed
home-made "things". Additionally, Thornton supplied field recordings and arranged many of the songs. Dubin rounds out the group with his gut-wrenching vocals,
noise and arrangements. Screaming, singing, whispers and chants can be heard throughout "This Face". Dubin's lyrics are vivid portrayals of all things bad.
Vinyl edition comes with MP3 download coupon so you can stick it on your nanobot dohickey and listen when you go jogging...

LOTUS EATERS
'Mind Control For Infants' 2LP
Genre:ambient/drone
This ultra-deluxe double LP release was cut direct to metal and pressed on 200g virgin vinyl. It comes housed in an old-style Stoughton tip-on gatefold jacket wrapped in foil-stamped brown
linen with an 8x8 inch offset print mounted on the front cover. Heavy duty printed innersleeves with flooded pockets are also included. Presented in a limited edition of 1000.
Three versions were available;
100 white/silver marble (taiga mailorder exclusive)
300 gold (only available through taiga mailorder and the members of Lotus Eaters)
600 black.
I bought these directly from Stephen O'Malley. I have VERY FEW in stock. Apologies for the high price on this one: this is one of the most deluxe LP editions I have ever seen, and they were a high price at Taiga when they came out. These cost me a lot, and postage is a fortune as they weigh an absolute ton.
I only have a couple of black vinyl copies left now.
Note: Registered shipping is recommended on these: these are totally sold out at source so in addition to accepting no responsibility for items lost in the mail, these are irreplaceable anyways...

Mrtyu
'Ornate Shroud' LP
Genre: avant garde / drone / outrock
The first vinyl release for NZ's mysterious Mrtyu as fas as I know, and the first for the Faunasabbatha label. Always been a fan of Mrtyu, from their CD on Campbell Neale's Battlecruiser label, through to their work on
20 Buck Spin. This album sees them/him/it in the most music-like mode thus far to my ears, less ethno drone and tribal racket, more guitar and gaspy vocals (admittedly osunding as though they come from far below the topsoil).
A great way to fill this very heavy slab of vinyl, and way beyond the one-listen world of so much of this kind of material that's out there these days on Cdr, lathe cut, sprayed cassette and christ know's what else... I have a very small number of these and would recommend you sort yourself out with one. Nice silkscreen cover too, textured black card wraparound sleeve.
Seven tracks of "spiritual destruction and utter evisceration", and apparently MRTYU is the vedic word for the concept of DEATH! Limited to 350 copies. Take a peak under the 'Ornate Shroud'!
Recomended release from an intriguing band.

NADJA
'Clinging To The Edge Of The Sky' 12"
Genre: drone
"After NADJA moved to berlin, germany and became neighbors of ours we decided to release a record wich was recorded in berlin, with artwork done by a swede living in berlin ( www.hlg.se ) ,
on two berlin based labels ( adagio830 & vednetta ) , so here we go...
'Clinging To The Edge Of The Sky' sees Nadja taking a new (and unexpected) direction. It is not the Nadja most people are used to. It is a more scaled down, minimalistic
and naked sound. There is almost a total lack of distortion, and it is not as heavy or noisy as most of their earlier releases. One song, spanning 16 minutes, takes you on a sad and slow journey.
It is hypnotic, it is soothing. It is Nadja! Comes with a laser etched B-side.
LTD to 500 copies and almost sold out on the first day".

OUR LOVE WILL DESTROY THE WORLD
'Fucking Dracula Clouds' CD
Genre:drone/psychedelic noise
"Stunning new LP from Campbell Knele's post Birchville Cat Motel project. Continues with the vibes set on his superb LP for
Dekorder, total psychedelic filth noise. Two side long heavy pieces
of gushing electric destruction, one sound lurches in and tears down another one, which it rebuilds an even more ferocious version of the original
sound. Limited to 400 copies in pro printed wrap around sleeve on 400gsm silk card." - Blackest Rainbow.

RIDE FOR REVENGE
'wisdom of the few' LP
Genre: twisted Black Metal
"Second full length album of ritual Black Metal. Nine songs in 44 minutes, enter the deeper level of conscience through mystic rhythms of death,
raw Black Metal soundscapes and heavy experimental stages. Glossy gatefold cover with lyrics, printed in black/white/red. Northern Heritage / Bestial Burst."
Excellent second album from this experimental BM horde. Coming on like some kind of demented ESG, this is unlike any other BM you have
ever heard, utilising just bass, vocals and drums. Not in the least straightforward, these guys are up there with the likes of URFAUST and DEATHSPELL OMEGA in terms of
moving the genre further into the uncharted realms. Recommended.

R.Y.N.
'Whistle and I'll come to you' 7"
"RYN is a quite new british duo (with members also active as MARZURAAN) and this is after few CDR-outputs their first vinyl release. Their drone-style could be described as Òpower-droneÓ, using solely field recordings (here: electric shaver vibration on bits of metal & refrigerator hum) for these two pieces presented here. These energetic sound-sources build masses of heavy clouds in movement that flood your mind away, pure metallic flood-noises that brings a most welcomed VOID into your head. Filed under: Power-Void-Drones
PURPLE VINYL. HAND-PRINTED FULL-COLOUR ART SHEETS & SILKSCREENED COVERS"

SEJAYNO
'sedainty' LP
"IMembers of sejayno release a morphic aura into the air through the utilization of therapeutic breathing
techniques, fumblings, and fantasies about sexual tourism. The Swedenbourgian 'airplane' becomes reality along with the use of tubas and guitars
and poetic resonance. You may know Peter Blasser as "ciat-lonbarde" or the next incarnation of dr.who imagining bob moog as interpreted by the
paper circuit in the form of the seed of life. Carson Garhart is not only "cute" but was also the phantasmal skeleton in 'the skeletons' and
Severiano Martinez is the man behind it all." Side one reminds me of THE STARGAZER'S ASSISTANT a little bit, lots of non-verbal vocal sounds, all very odd indeed.
Side two is a little more like SILVESTER ANFANG, maybe some of the No Fun bands, its really hard to pin this down, its very unique and very very bizarre.
"If those back-to-basics wing nuts in M. Night Shyamalan's Signs had actually been a bunch of music- and art-loving intellectuals who bugged off to
some Indonesian archipelago with a cadre of Eastern European women, a Radio Shack warehouse's worth of electronics parts and doodads, a few
Tesla coils, a stack of Fortean Times magazines, and the complete filmography of Alejandro Jodorowsky, Laity would be the Smithsonian Folkways
recording of the indigenous music they made." - Baltimore City Paper

SUNN O))) & PANSONIC
'Che' 10"
Genre:noise/drone
An insane collaboration, this is actually a three way split 10" of covers of SUICIDE tracks. SUNN O))) pair up with PANSONIC to cover the track 'Che', the line up
including The Melvins' Joe Preston on vocals (!), and Hammond organ from Steve Moore (STEBMO, EARTH) creating a hellish drone and psychedelically altered atmospheres with
electronics from Mika Vainio over the top. The other tracks are by ALAN VEGA and STEPHEN BURROUGHS. The package itself is pretty bizarre: a matte white sleeve with
the tracklist handstamped on the front. The inside is printed with a beautiful illustration of the sea & sun. printed inner bag. Numbered with a sticker. Released by Blast First Petite, these are all white vinyl (there were 1500 white, 1500 clear and 500 black which were promo only).
Got just a few of these, apologies for the high price, I had to buy these direct from the band.

SYLVESTER ANFANG II
'Commune Cassetten' LP
Genre:funeral psyche
"A new slab of wax of tranced out psychotic psychedelic-ness from the occult loving Belgium based clan.
This new incarnation being SYLVESTER ANFANG II (as opposed to Silvester Anfang) reached a new level of sheer awesomeness
last year with the incredible double LP on Aurora Borealis, on 'Commume Cassetten' they continue their bizarre trip into
the darker - but somehow super psychedelic - realm of the occult obsessed mind. There's a real fucked up krautrock boogie
vibe throughout but retaining some of the doomed funeral folk qualities of the original Anfang guise, as well as some loose as
hell, total stoned out ritualistic baked grooves. The LP comes housed in a techni-colour collaged artwork with a black and
white image of a lady, which we can presume is a witch, with a dagger and chalice... a sleeve that really sums up the music
enclosed. The sleeves are pro-printed and wrap around the deep black wax which has some sweet full colour labels. This is one
hell of a 40 minute trip!" - Blackest Rainbow.
Edition of 500 copies, shipping from March 2nd.

TROUM
'Nargis' 7" vinyl
Bremen's TROUM have been quite for a while but this 7" and a new CD puts them back at the front of the European ambient drone scene. Two great longish pieces,
warm and analogue textures. The two members "Glit[S]ch" and "Baraka[H]" were active before in the influental ambient industrial group Maeror Tri which existed
from 1988 to 1996. Troum is the old german word for "dream". The dream seen as a central manifestation of the unconscious symbolizes the aim of Troum to lead the
listener into a hypnotizing dream-state of mind, a pre-verbal and primal consciousness sphere.
Nice printed inner and outer bag. Limited to 400.
